February is Dental Month!

We are offering 10% off of canine and feline dental cleanings in the month of February!

At Lakeview Animal Clinic we would like to remind you that preventative dental care is always less expensive than oral catastrophes! Dental health problems are extremely common, and many are very painful and can lead to serious systemic conditions. An untreated dental infection can spread to the heart, kidneys, and other organs, and suddenly become life threatening. Practicing good dental hygiene at home in addition to regular dental cleanings by your veterinarian is the most efficient and cost-effective way to extend your pet’s life, while keeping them comfortable and pain free.

Unsure if your pet needs a dental cleaning? Schedule a FREE DENTAL CHECK with one of Lakeview Animal Clinic’s technicians. They can take a quick look at the oral health of your furry friend!

This is a “before” and “after” picture of a canine dental cleaning. What a difference!

Check out Dr. Anna Schwister’s “scaling” video. Scaling your pet’s teeth is the first step to rid them of tartar build up.

This next video made by Dr. Anna shows the “polishing” of a canine’s teeth. This process helps to smooth the surface of your pet’s teeth.

A final video that was made by Dr. Anna shows the “fluoride treatment”. Fluoride is used to harden the dentin and decrease the tooth sensitivity.

Dr. Anna taped her YouTube video’s and performed the dental cleaning using her own dog, Noodles.
