We believe in comprehensive pet wellness care.
At Lakeview Animal Clinic, our veterinarians will monitor your pet’s general health during regular checkups. They’ll also be able to detect any minor health concerns before they become serious.
Because your pets cannot communicate their needs, maintaining a schedule of regular medical checkups is critical. Our veterinary team may also want to do diagnostic tests like blood testing and x-rays as part of the examination to evaluate your pet’s health.
For dogs and cats in their senior years, routine blood testing, urinalysis (urine testing), and other tests are suggested. For younger pets, regular blood testing and urinalysis may be recommended; the findings will be compared as your pet grows older. Routine checkups allow your veterinarian to form a picture of your pet’s overall health and establish baseline health indicators. Examinations are also crucial in detecting problems before they get out of hand, ensuring that your pet receives the best possible outcome. Our veterinarians recommend a complete physical examination once a year for an adult dog and twice a year for a senior dog.
