Anna Schwister

Veterinarian

Dr. Anna has been practicing veterinary medicine in Southeast Wisconsin since graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She specialized in the care and treatment of her true loves – dogs and cats. She started Lakeview Animal Clinic in 2012 and has become a staple in the Pewaukee community ever since. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she is off exploring the world. She loves to travel, go camping and ride her ATVs with her husband, Mike, and her two daughters, Ellie and Mollie. You have probably seen her Golden Retriever, Yogi, on our social media, as well as her two cats, Leo and Nemo. Most recently, Dr. Anna has become a proud UW Madison Badger mom for a second time!

Dr. Molly

Veterinarian

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Molly graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Since then, she has practiced in small animal general medicine, emergency medicine and wildlife medicine throughout her career. Following several years in a mixed animal practice in Michigan, Dr. Molly completed a wildlife and conservation medicine internship in Sanibel Island, Florida. Migrating back to the Midwest, she merged her passions for small animal and wildlife by working in various general practice and emergency clinics throughout Milwaukee, as well as serving as veterinarian for the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Molly is excited to provide an urgent care service to Lakeview Animal Clinic, especially with her most recent experience at an emergency clinic and realizing the need for this type of service in the community. Together with her boyfriend, they share 3 dogs (a yellow lab and 2 dachshunds) and 2 cats (orange tabbies). In her free time, she enjoys hiking with their dogs, paddleboarding in the summers and snowboarding in the winters.

Ericka

Practice Manager

Ericka has worked in veterinary medicine since 2015. Originally attending UW Oshkosh as a biology major, she ended up moving to Colorado and adjusting her career path to veterinary medicine. She started as an assistant at an emergency clinic in Denver and quickly advanced to a technician. After earning her AAS in Animal Technology and passing the national board exam, she became a CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician). She worked in emergency medicine for 3 years before switching to general practice. Before moving back to Wisconsin with her family, she worked for a year as a veterinary cardiology technician at AESC in Parker while earning her bachelor’s in Business Management from CSU. After moving back to Wisconsin, she started working as the practice manager at Lakeview Animal Clinic. Ericka and her husband, Ryan, share three kids, twin boys, Bennett and Archer, and a daughter, Layne. They also have three dogs, Rowdy, Jules, and Pinkerton. While working as a CVT, her favorite areas included dentals/surgery, cardiology, and emergency medicine.

Kristen

Veterinary Technician

Kristen has known that she wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. They always seemed to flock to her and her to them! She graduated from Rochester Community College in 2012 with an AAS in Applied Science – Veterinary Technology. She has been working as a veterinary technician since and feels lucky that she is able to go to a job she loves every day! Before Dr. Anna opened the clinic in 2012, Kristen and Dr. Anna worked together at another clinic, making it an easy decision to join the Lakeview team in 2015. When she is not loving on animals at work, she enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Apollo, her husband, Ryan, and son, Levi (who keeps them busy with hockey, soccer, and football).

Mackenzie

Veterinary Assistant

Mackenzie started her career in 2011 as a kennel assistant, drawn to the appeal of working with animals. Her love for the profession and veterinary medicine grew, and with it, she continued to learn and expand her skills on the job. She joined the Lakeview family in September 2020. Outside of work, she loves to explore different artistic outlets, such as drawing, painting, digital graphics, and, more recently, ceramics. Most days, you can find her hiking in the woods with her dogs or at home trying out whatever new DIY or hobby she recently discovered. Mackenzie currently has three Siberian huskies, a cat, four rats, and a loving husband, Paul.

Shelly

Receptionist

Shelly joined the Lakeview family in September of 2020. Previously she had worked in veterinary medicine while her children were little and then went into medical imaging for humans. She ended up missing veterinary medicine and working with animals, so she decided to go back to what she loved. When she is not with her work family, she spends time with her three daughters and their families. Her four grandkids also keep her busy! She enjoys hanging out by her pool, gardening, baking, and crafting. You have probably seen her handy work around the clinic! She loves warm weather, the beach, and if we are ever willing to let her go, she hopes to retire on the beaches of South Carolina.
